Studio Lamworks
Studio Lamworks creates custom furniture, sculptures and objects, designed and crafted in a small workshop in South East Queensland.
Every piece is handmade by Luke McKenzie, his approach shaped by years of working with timber. Growing up on a tree farm, he spent hours exploring the property and sculpting with even the smallest offcuts. It’s also where much of the timber he works with today was sourced.
Having worked as a carpenter in both Australia and New Zealand across high-end residential projects, Luke understands how the objects he makes should sit within the spaces around them.
Rather than working with only one material, Studio Lamworks brings custom, made-to-order pieces to life with both timber and steel.
